    The results of God's work in the last days are achieved through the word, through the word. The word helps man understand mysteries and God's work throughout history. It brings man enlightenment of the Holy Spirit, and knowledge of mysteries sealed for centuries. It explains the work of prophets and apostles and the rules when they carried it out. The word makes man know God's disposition, as well as his own rebelliousness and substance. Through these steps of work and all words spoken, man comes to know the work of the Spirit, and know the work of God's incarnate flesh, moreover the entirety of His disposition. Your knowledge of God's 6,000-year work was also attained through the word. Know your old notions and put them aside— was not it too attained through the word? In the previous stage Jesus displayed miracles, but it's not so in this last stage. Wasn't it through the word that you finally understood why you don't see any signs now? The words spoken in this stage surpass work done by apostles and the prophets of the past. Even for prophecies made by the prophets, such results could not have come to pass. The prophets only prophesied what would happen in the future, but not of the work God was to do at the time. They didn't speak to lead man, bestow truth, reveal mysteries, and much less did they speak, and much less did they speak to bestow life. Words spoken in this stage contain prophecy and truth, but mainly serve to bestow life upon man. Unlike the prophecies of the prophets, the words at present are a stage of work for man's life, to change his disposition.

    God’s incarnation shall embody God’s substance and expression. And when He’s made flesh He’ll bring forth the work He’s been given to express what He is, bring truth to all men, give them life and show them the way. Any flesh that doesn’t embed His substance surely is not God incarnate.

    Confirm God’s flesh and the true way by His disposition, words and works. Focus on His substance instead of His appearance. It is ignorant and naive to focus on God’s external appearance. The outward doesn't determine the inward, and God’s work does not conform to man's conceptions.

    Didn’t Jesus’ appearance differ from what the people expected? Didn’t His image and dress disguise His identity? Wasn’t that why the Pharisees opposed Him? They focused on how He looked and paid no attention to what He said.

    God Himself is life and truth, and His life and truth are intertwined. Those who gain not His truth, gain not life. Without receiving the guidance and support of His truth, man is left with mere letters and doctrines, man is left with death. God's life and truth are intertwined and ever-present. If you know not the source of truth, you receive not the nourishment of life. Christ of the last days brings life and carries enduring and everlasting truth. This truth is the path that man must walk to gain life. It is the only path to knowing God and receiving His approval.

    To ignore the path of life brought by Christ of the last days is to forsake the approval of Jesus, and turn yourself away from the kingdom of heaven. You become a puppet and prisoner of history. If you gain not the provision of life, you surely possess not the truth. You are merely putrid flesh, just empty imagination and fruitless ideation. The words in books are not life, the records of history are not truth, the old ways of the past are not the records of the words God speaks today. What they have is nothing but a thousand years of history and doctrine, like dark stagnant pools, which are not the water of life from the throne of God. And those who drink not from this water shall shamble as corpses forever, as thralls of Satan, as the sons of hell. Christ of the last days brings life and carries enduring and everlasting truth.
